Your Deva Haircut with Joy

The Deva cut is a customized, individualized experience for the naturally curly woman (or man). From slightly wavy to corkscrew curls, the cut and DevaCurl products will encourage, enhance, and control your curls.

You should arrive at the salon for your appointment with your hair air-dried in it’s natural wave pattern so I can observe and use your hair’s own curl pattern as a guide to your cut.

After our consultation, your hair will be cut dry - snipping and sculpting each curl at the correct location. We will then cleanse, style and dry your hair with a diffuser or bonnet dryer.

We will also cover DevaCurl product knowledge as well as tips for caring and maintaining your curls. Once your hair is dried, the cut will be examined for any adjustments. Due to the method of this cut, a Deva cut can replace 2-4 traditional haircuts depending on the preferred length of your style.
